    None of your download links work, even on the new wordpress site. :( Was hoping to take a look at jump for the clix. I’m interested in making flash for clix, do you have any resources as well for making quick flash 1.1 effects, something similar to swish or swishmax.. is there such a program or is the only way to program, using an sdk for flash 1.1 aka actionscript or whatever?

    Thanks Sean, It seems that the previous deleted links from the old site, affected the links here. I redirected them back to the right link.

    I plan to add a tutorial section in the near future for the clix. For the effects, I haven’t used swish or swishmax before, but for most of my animation I used pure flash code.

    Oh ya i forgot i am using it on the Cowon D2. I guess it won’t work then. How would it work on the pc then?

    Hmm… Cowond D2 or clix… it should still work… Try pressing all the keys that represent a + or - or something of that sort…
    For the computer, press

    what is pushing + or - supposed to do? It didn’t show anything in the “how to play menu”.

    Regardless of the “how-to-play,” I did ultimately program it… :) What it does is simply activate your gloves…

    I have COWON D2 too… What keys are available for use on clix when playing flash games? Only the direction keys and the +/- keys? What should I press on PC?

    Kshitij, Thanks for those kind words. The clix is indeed an awesome little device.

    CriminalF, To tell you the truth, I have no idea how the cowon d2 works - I have never seen it play any of my games, so please do try at your own risk. You are correct in that my games only use directional keys and the plus and minus (volume up and down) keys.
    For the PC, it usually is the page up/down keys.

    Thanks for the fast answer. I have some more questions. :) Only these six keys are available to use on clix? PgUp/DgDn don’t work, any idea? What application do you use for developing these games? Thanks in advance and merry christmas

    CriminalF,

    the clix substitutes pageup/down of the pc for the volume keys located on the top of the clix. I’m not sure why it doesn’t work on your cowon/pc… again these games were intended for and have only been tested on the clix. All of these games are flash lite, which have been developed through Adobe’s flash lite 1.1-2.1 compiler. For graphics, I usually combine photoshop and Open source blender. Hope that helps.

    It’s me again. :) The new game (Dark Tides) is very good, but the torpedo bomb is too powerful. And now I’m 99% sure that in SketchLite beta2 the gloves aren’t working because I wasn’t able to use them neither on PC nor on D2, but in Dark Tides the +/- or PgUp/PgDn keys are working. Please fix it.

    Thanks. Yes, I totally agree. This is a beta release and the balancing and/or glitches have yet to be improved - stay tuned for the updated versions including campaign missions.

    The gloves should work… I’m still unsure why it doesn’t work. Perhaps, SketchMini you’ll have better luck. When time allots me, I’ll take a look again into the codes for Sketchbeta2.

    Cool ship game. Hey i tried the page up page down thing and it doesn’t work! i Guess it only works with the Clix. Do you think you could make a game for the D2 one day? Where can i get sketchlite mini?

    Thanks. That’s strange, as it works perfectly well on my computer… Are you on a laptop? usually the pageup/down is used in conjunction with the (special) key. I do not own a D2, so developing for it is much harder than you think - maybe if I get enough donations to purchase one - you’ll definitely see more games for that platform as well. Sketchlite mini is currently being developed for the mobile phone. You can download it to your phone if you are a qualified member of playyoo - when it is released. It will probably be finished by 1-2 weeks.

    Everything should work. Especially for the clix series. However, you may notice a few performance issues. Have fun.

    hi i resently reset my iriver clix and for some reason when i go to put it into my computer again it comes up but it wont let me use it, it says i have to re-install it so i try and it trys to install an mtp file then says it cannot install for some reason how can i fix this problem cheers michael ?

    Honestly, I have no experience in terms of file manipulation for the clix.

    I’m sure the former will have answers to your problem.

    I’m stuck at a11 for sketch lite beta 2 — I have no idea what to do. I’ve tried pressing all the buttons, from the time the stick figure *clicks* the light at the left (which I interpreted as clicking the clix), to when the…portal? appears (I’ve tried running towards it, running away, holding up, holding down, +/-, etc…). I want my gloves :(!

    Your enthusiasm makes me smile. Simply continue to the right, as the boulder tries to smoosh you. Once you are under the safety of the rectangular ledge, still continue right to see the “boss” of the stage.

    Er, I believe that’s what I meant by “running away” — I’ve held down the right directional “button” for…a minute, two minutes, to no avail. I’m just stuck there.

    hmmm, are you using a clix or a d2? If you are using a clix, that is by far the most strangest glitch to date… Well within a few weeks, a new version will be released… stay tuned.

    Hey, did you get the password to the next level? Once you receive it, you can enter them into the password section to unlock the glove based levels. Good luck!

    Unfortunately Sketch Lite 2 doesnt work on D2s properly I’m afraid ;( 2nd level doesnt load…

    Anyway great games :D Do you know any other sites with free flash games for clix or D2?

    in dark tides if you commit suicide by sending your ship into the other submarine your hit points, on the result screen, become random large numbers such as 4600 and such
